I know everyone says that use of the buses is limited, but every time I come into Shelford I see residents using our bus shelters ready for their onward journeys. It is lovely to see that they are so well used.
Recently, Great Shelford Parish Council resolved to replace the shelter on Cambridge Road at the end of Trinity Lane as it was no longer financially viable to keep patching it up. This replacement shelter is the first in a rolling replacement programme as the older shelters are replaced over the next few years. These shelters should last 50 years. We hope you agree with us that it is a positive edition to the village.
