Great Shelford Recreation Ground is located off Woollards Lane and is a beautiful space for residents to embrace nature and enjoy the facilities available to them.
The Recreation Ground is just over 8 acres in size and boasts a wildflower meadow, woodland copse, riverbank walk, playscape and various sports facilities.
There are still projects in hand to enhance the facilities available including a new Wheelscape due 2022/23.
The Pavilion is available for hire during the week, Monday to Friday. Prices from January 2022 will be:
- Regular users – £10 + VAT per hour
- Resident (non regular) – £12.50 + VAT per hour
- Non Resident (non regular) – £17.50 + VAT per hour
